While the iPhone 12 mini offers a superior processor, higher quality camera, and sharper display, the larger screen, higher refresh rate and notably improved battery life of the Samsung Galaxy A25 would be better suited to my needs.

The enhanced battery life of the A25 allows for a full day of usage, a necessity for my daily routine, as I frequently travel and will not always have access to a power outlet. As I also tend to watch a lot of media on my mobile device, the larger display and high refresh rate are highly desirable. While the camera is objectively worse than that of the iPhone 12 mini, I don't value it as highly, as the images taken from the A25 are still perfectly suitable for everyday use and social media.

The performance difference between the two phones, while significant on paper, is unlikely to be noticeable in my average day-to-day use. While the iPhone 12 mini is objectively a better device on many fronts, the trade-offs in size, screen, and battery life are too large for me to ignore.
