My Choice
I would choose the iPhone 12 mini. While I acknowledge that the Honor X7 has superior battery life and a larger screen which can be useful, I value performance, camera quality and a high quality display much more in a smartphone. I also prefer the compact size of the iPhone 12 mini as I prefer to use my phone one-handed. Additionally, I am already in the Apple Ecosystem and prefer the continuity that provides. Finally, I am ok with charging my phone every day, and not having all day battery life. While the Honor X7 is a great budget option, I would personally prefer to pay a higher price for a much better performance, camera and display, especially as I use the smartphone heavily.
